With a touch of a button, a swipe of the finger, we crave instant gratification. Everyone is wired-up, blue-toothed--and stressed out. As a yoga instructor I encourage my students to make time to disconnect and go offline. Too much technology is just too much. So the last place you'd find me is at CES, the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.

When it comes to doing laundry there are many things to be mindful of. You have to follow the care-tag, separate colors, set the proper temperature, use the right amount of detergent, and in NYC one other important thing maybe the most important:
You basically have to glue yourself to the machine so no one will even touch your laundry.

After having had each one of them done -- some even at a variety of different salons, I started to investigate more deeply into the differences between them and which would be best for me. People may not think yoga instructors worry about their nails -- but I can assure you, my students are not only studying my postures, they're also checking out my nails.
