  • Product Description
    The Dive into Yoga DVD is the ideal way for both the beginner and the experienced yogi to practice in the peace and privacy of home. With the guidance of professional yoga instructor Christine Martitz, Dive into Yoga identify and teaches specific breathing exercises (pranayama), yoga postures (asanas), relaxation (savasana), and meditation techniques with Sanskrit references. The DVD begins with pranayama, opening with three rounds of kapalabhati breathing, followed by three full rounds of sun salutations. In the final round, Christine adds the pigeon pose (showing an optional modification with a block), the runner’s stretch, the crescent moon posture, the 3-legged dog pose, and a twisting high lunge. The Bonus Chapter highlights sitting poses, and includes a comprehensive menu of 26 yoga postures, plus a glossary of Sanskrit terms with English translations. Follow Christine in either English or German and with or without music. The DVD menu also allows one to play the entire program or just segments of it. The introduction to Dive into Yoga is given by Cosmopolitan International Editor-in-Chief, Helen Gurley Brown and was produced by the three-time Emmy Award winner David Seeger of Today Video Inc., Running Time: 60 minutes
